Arlington Library closed – Boardman Road Library opening

The Public Computer Center (PCC) at the Poughkeepsie Public Library held its last program at the Arlington Library on Thursday, March 12. The Arlington Library closed as of 5pm on Saturday 3/14/15.

Over the past 4 years, the PCC has held over 200 technology classes and computer labs at the Arlington Library.

While we are sad to see one library closing, we are excited about our new library on Boardman Road, opening in mid-April. The Boardman Road Library is located at 141 Boardman Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

There is a grand opening scheduled for the  Boardman Road Library on Sunday, April 12 at 2:00 pm (

The Public Computer Center plans to begin running workshops at the new library the week of April 20 . Computer Labs are scheduled to begin on Thursday April 23 from 1:30-3:00. The larger Boardman Road Library provides a program room for the children’s events, as well as several spaces for adult events.

We hope you’ll join us for classes or labs at the Boardman Road Library!
