Your Library Card & Microsoft Office

Did you know that in addition to the great hands-on workshops the Public Computer Center offers on Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, our library system also subscribes to databases that provide instruction on these useful tools as well?  All you need is your library card to gain access to these helpful resources.

  • Check out Gale’s Testing & Education Reference Center and Workforce Skills for the 21st Century for tutorials on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook, as well as lessons on more basic computer skills.
  • If you need personalized help on a Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint project you are working on, check out the database Job Now’s live help provided by expert tutors. You just connect with a tutor via chat then upload the file you are working on, and the tutor will assist you.
All of these great resources are available to anyone with a library card from a Mid-Hudson Library System library.  Click on the link below to access these databases.
