Do more with Microsoft Excel–go beyond the basics. In this workshop you will learn more about formulas and see what functions are available to help you with calculations. You will also learn how to use auto filter and how to create a simple chart. Prerequisite–Microsoft Excel 101 or equivalent experience.

Learn the basics of using Microsoft Word, the popular word processing program. This class will cover how to use some of the basic tools, toolbars and ribbon to create, edit and format simple documents.

Receive individualized help using the library’s computers and searching the internet. Specific tasks staff can help with include: learning basic computer skills, creating email accounts, performing job searches, filling out job applications, formatting resumes, filing for unemployment, and creating and editing Microsoft Office documents. Each lab is limited to 8 attendees. Registration is encouraged but not required.
